SANTA CLAUS, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The long-running battle over the control of Holiday World in Santa Claus, Indiana appears to be winding down after a victory for the widow of the late president of the theme park.
The Indiana Appeals Court has ruled that Lori Koch will keep her controlling interest in Holiday World, and does not have to sell her shares to her brother-in-law, Dan Koch.
The battle started after Will Koch suddenly died in 2010. Lori said that Dan’s offer of $27 million for her shares was too low and broke an agreement.
The Appeals Court Agreed with her.
Holiday world remains family-owned by the Koch family.
