Historic café is back in business after train derailment shut it down

WEST POINT, Ky. – Life is getting closer to normal again in the small town of West Point, Kentucky. The town was shut down and all homes and businesses were evacuated after a fire at the train derailment site just down the road.

West Point is made up of dozens of businesses and more than 1200 people call it home. Right now, they’re trying to get back to the way things were before the train derailed in their backyard. But, the danger hasn’t passed just yet.
