SHEPHERDSVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- An 18-year-old Louisville high school student is behind bars in Bullitt County tonight with charges of rape of a 12-year-old. Gerald McIntosh, III, was arrested Saturday night at Freedom Elementary School in Shepherdsville.
Police say one of their officers pulled into the school's parking lot and caught McIntosh having sex with the girl. They met at the skating rink.
The two say the relationship is consensual, but authorities say it doesn't matter because of the age difference.
