Police: Lou. man admits heroin use to detective

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Louisville police arrested a man on drug charges related to heroin use.

Detectives executing a search warrant found heroin residue in James Headley's bedroom according to a police report. Headley, 31, admitted to a detective that it was in fact heroin and that he had used it last weekend.

Police also found a scale and marijuana pipe in the kitchen drawer.

When Headley was transported to the St. Matthews Police Department to obtain a statement, he admitted to using heroin and bringing a female acquaintance back to his apartment and providing heroin for her to use.

Headley was charged with possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia and trafficking in a controlled substance.
