Henryville, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Henryville High School has been named the winner of Lady Antebellum's "Own the Night" Prom Contest.
However, the Grammy winning country group won't be able to attend the high school's scheduled prom in April. Instead they'll put on a concert for the juniors and seniors first, and then hold a community concert, all in Louisville on Wednesday, May 16.
Lady A says they unanimously chose Henryville as the winner because of their story of resilience and unity. Several video submissions were sent on behalf of Henryville but the winning submission actually came from Silver Creek High School.
While the time and place of that Louisville concert has not been determined yet, Henryville residents are obviously still excited about the announcement.
