Henryville, Ind. (WHAS11) -- Volunteers at March 2 Recovery, the charity coordinating rebuilding efforts in Indiana counties Clark, Jefferson, and Washington, is warning against scammers.
A representative from the Consumer Protection Division of the Indiana Attorney General's office educated people about the dangers of them as recovery continues.
Volunteers are warning against fake charities and contractors who take your money without doing much work.
Scams can happen after any storm, small or large, but they've popped up since the March 2 tornado ravaged Southern Indiana. A small number of people have been affected.
Most believe Henryville has come a long way in nearly seven months but some say there's still work to be done.
