(WHAS 11) -- Heavy rain from what is left of Hurricane Isaac is set to put a damper on Labor Day weekend for much of the country, including here in Kentuckiana.
According to First Alert StormTeam's Ben Pine, heavy rains could fall Saturday and Sunday. Some parts of our viewing area could see as much as 6 inches of rain, but those totals may not be widespread.
The exact timing of the rain is hard to pinpoint, due to the slow movement of the storm and the heavy bands of rain that come with it.
Localized flash flooding is possible, but severe weather is not likely.
