(WHAS 11)--The officer assigned to Metro Councilwoman Barbara Shanklin's case has to finish gathering facts today and submit them to the Ethics Commission.
The commission will have 6 weeks to decide what recommendations to make.
Shanklin is accused of violating the city's ethics code by misusing taxpayer money and using her position to benefit relatives.
Her last ethics hearing was last November you'll remember she answered few questions and at one point pleading the fifth and walking out of the room.
