One of the only homeless shelters in southern Indiana is getting a brand new roof.
It comes just one week after the Jeffersonville shelter went up for auction and a new owner took over.
David Brown, who owns a local roofing company, bought it for more than $7800.
Brown is taking on the property's $81,000 mortgage to keep it as a shelter and repair it.
The old owner still owes the IRS nearly $300,000 in back taxes.
