LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – After numerous complaints of individuals not cleaning up after their animals, a rally was held for responsible pet ownership.

The Rally for Rover event was held to bring awareness for pet owners to take action in keeping the newly opened Big Four pedestrian bridge clean.

Feeder’s Supply passed out t-shirts to anyone willing to sign a pledge to be a responsible pet owner.

“Responsible pet ownership is a bigger issue. It’s about spaying and neutering, keeping your pet safe and cleaning up after them no matter where you are – on the Big Four Bridge or your own neighborhood,” Linda Brock said.

The group has created a special Facebook page and you can visit it by clicking here.
