FRANKFORT, Ky. (WHAS11) – Kentucky governor Steve Beshear is recovering from eye surgery.
The Governor’s Office says the surgery Thursday night addressed a follow up issue to two previous eye surgeries.
Beshear first underwent surgery in November to repair a detached retina; he had a follow up surgery last week.
The governor is expected to make a full recovery and he plans to return to work on Monday.
