Government shutdown to affect parks, federal employees around Kentuckiana

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A government shutdown would be devastating to Kentucky's only national park--Mammoth Cave.

Federal employees would not be able to go to work but the Ohio River will stay open, there will be no shutdown of the locks or dam for river traffic.

So how would a government shutdown impact the rest of Kentuckiana?
