Golden Alert issued for missing McCreary Co. man

A Golden Alert has been issued for William Alton Slaven, a 75-year-old white male from Whitley City, Ky. He was last seen Saturday around 4:30 P.M. by his wife, Sue Slaven, and a neighbor.

Slaven's wife says he was heading north on U.S. 27 in Greenwood in McCreary County, Ky. Sue Slaven says he may be headed for Marion, Ind.

Slaven is 5'11" and 240 lbs. with gray hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a brown, plaid shirt with buttons, blue jeans, black dress shoes and glasses. Slaven was seen driving a silver, 2007, 4-door Chrysler 300 with license plate 310-NRV.

William Slaven has Alzheimer's and is diabetic. He has not had his insulin since Saturday.
