LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Family and friends came together Monday evening at 35th and Broadway in West Louisville to pay tribute to one of the city’s latest murder victim.
17-year-old Darius Miller Jr. was shot to death in the Walgreen’s parking lot at 35th and Broadway Sunday morning.
Miller’s family says he was the father of an 8-month-old baby and was scheduled to begin his senior year of high school.
Miller’s death is just one of 6 deadly shootings since last Thursday. His father says the violence must stop.
Police arrested 22-year-old Kyle Chambers in Dubois, Indiana and Destiny Trusty, who is considered a second suspect, was arrested late Monday afternoon.
