LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Here in Louisville we have plenty of quality museums. But which one is best?
This year the Frazier History Museum was named Best of Louisville in Louisville Magazine's "Best of" awards.
To celebrate, the museum held a rooftop toast Friday afternoon with French wine. That pairs well with the museum's next major exhibition “The Eye of Napoleon.” It opens in October.
“What it says is that the folks who come here to see our permanent collections and our temporary exhibits think it's a fabulous place and their learning has been enriched by everything they've seen here. The bottom line is they enjoy coming here, they think we're the best and we love It,” Helene Kramer, senior manager, public relations and marketing for the Frazier History Museum, said.
This is the second time the Frazier History Museum has received the best museum award from Louisville Magazine.
The first time was in 2008.
