LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Princess Diana exhibit is nearing the end of its run at the Frazier History Museum and the demand is higher than ever.
The museum is extending its hours through Sunday, the final day of the exhibit.
“Diana: A celebration” explores the life of the Princess of Wales through her collection of dresses, jewelry and personal mementos.
“As it winds to a close, we’ve definitely seen that sense of urgency motivate people to come on in, and in fact we’ve actually had to extend our hours to accommodate the demand,” Krista Snider of the Frazier History Museum said.
Extended hours start Wednesday. This means the museum will stay open until 8:30 p.m. each day to accommodate the thousands of visitors who purchased tickets.
Museum employees say if the demand increases even more, they may have to extend their hours further.
