LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The dress code may soon be changing at Fourth Street Live after some patrons have complained, saying the policy is unfair.

Fourth Street Live's after hours dress code included restrictions such as no over-sized or sleeveless shirts, sweatsuits, or profanity on clothes. They also banned excessively baggy pants and bandanas.

Community members have met for months with the Cordish Group, who operates 4th Street Live after a meeting on December 7. They say the group layed out a set of new policies including allowing baggy pants and bandanas.

Community leader Christopher 2x says that could go a long way in helping young people feel accepted there. Community reaction though is mixed.

The timeline for these changes is unclear however the bandana and baggy pants ban has been removed from the 4th Street Live website.

All concerned parties are scheduled to meet again in January.
