Former Jewish Hospital VP claims he was fired for whistle blowing

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - A former Jewish Hospital vice president claims he was fired for blowing the whistle on other top executives.
 

In court records, Stephen Scannell accuses the hospital's chief financial officer and chief executive of quote, “cooking the books.”
 

The allegations concern an attempt to conceal losses after Jewish Hospital merged with Saint Mary's Healthcare.
 

In the more than 30 page document, Scannell says he was directed to asked to beef up profit numbers being reported to catholic health initiatives.

Yet more corruption in healthcare. And these are the 'fastards' that are fighting reform. If the allegations prove true, they ought to forfeit their earnings for the last 15 years and never be allowed to make more than $50,000 a year for the rest of their lives! Sons of you-know-whats! >:( Let them try living like the people they're ripping off.
