Ford hires new Fern Valley plant leadership

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Ford Motor Company has appointed new leadership for its Louisville Assembly Plant.

The automaker has appointed Daryl Sykes, currently the plant manager at the Michigan Assembly Plant to take over on Fern Valley Road.

Syke’s succeeds John Savona who was recently promoted to oversee all of Ford’s manufacturing in North America.

Sykes led the team to launch the C-Max, a hybrid compact SUV and Ford’s first electrification program.
