The New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter is on a mission and they need your help to complete it!
The animal shelter along with 3500 other shelters from around the world are helping to place 1.5 million homeless pets with a loving family.
To kick off the event, the New Albany Floyd County Animal Shelter is holding the colors of the season sale. Every week an animal with a certain color will be discounted.
"Our goal is to get as many animals in a home over the holidays just so they can have a chance. I've got cats that have been here as long as a year," said Theresa Stilger, Animal Care Coordinator.
This week all black animals will be $15 off their adoption fee.
