SHELBYVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Another building in Shelbyville’s downtown has been damaged by fire.

Firefighters were called to 6th and Washington around 10:30 a.m. Sunday and found heavy smoke coming from the Chatham House.

The building has been under renovation for years but firefighters say it’s too early to tell what the cause of the fire is.

Foul play is not suspected.

The building was vacant at the time of the fire, no one was hurt.
