LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- An overnight fire at a vacant home off Dumensil Street has damaged a neighboring home.
Firefighters were called out to to the 1300 block of Olive Street around 2 a.m. Thursday morning. Thirty firefighters worked to control the blaze before the vacant home collapsed.
The fire did cause some damage to a neighboring home which was occupied - everyone inside the neighboring home did make it out safely.
One firefighter did suffer a knee injury and he was treated at the scene.
Firefighters are not sure what caused the blaze, an investigation is underway.
