Apartment fire
LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Metrosafe says around 16 people cannot return to their apartment due to a fire.
The fire broke out at 11230 Waterwood Lane around 4:45 p.m.
Neighbors told WHAS11 that a circuit blew possibly by a lightning strike. There's fire damage in the wall. LG&E had to cut the power to the building and that's why 16 people can't stay in their apartments.
Officials say the damage is not major.
This fire is near the Bullitt County and Jefferson County line.
