Woman shot to death in 65th homicide this year

Police say one overnight shooting lead to Louisville’s 65th homicide of the year.

A woman in her 40s was shot early Saturday moring around 4:30 a.m.

Police say they found the woman who had been shot multiple times in an alley in the 1600 block of Stone Alley.

The woman was taken to University Hospital and died a few hours later.

Police have not released the name of the victim.
