LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11)-- The Commonwealth of Kentucky is putting the familiar, red clapboard Hoge House in downtown Frankfort up for sale.
The historic home was build in 1825 and sits on more than a quarter of an acre on Wilkinson Boulevard.
The Commonwealth acquired the house in 1973 from a private owner. It has been home to various state agency offices since then.
Site visits are scheduled on January 8 and January 15. Bidding will begin on January 22.
