Louisville, KY (November 15, 2012) - The Kentucky State Fair Board is hiring about 250
additional part-time staff for its Venue Services Department. Those hired will assist with events
at the Kentucky Exposition Center, Kentucky International Convention Center and the KFC
Positions to be filled include ticket sellers, ticket takers, greeters, ushers, concierges and T-shirt
security. The Venue Services staff meets, greets and assists patrons during family shows,
concerts and University of Louisville basketball games
All applicants must be 18-years-old to apply and must call (502) 367-5022 beginning Thursday,
November 15 at 10 a.m. Appointments will be taken from 9 a.m.-5p.m. daily until all interview
slots are full. Interviews will be conducted at the Kentucky Exposition Center and Kentucky
International Convention Center and will be approximately two hours in duration. Training for
new hires will begin in January 2013. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
