LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The FFA convention wrapped up at the Kentucky Expo Center on Saturday with honors and a big celebration.
In a ceremony at Freedom Hall, six young people were chosen to become national delegates. They will spend the next year traveling across the country to events that will help them hone their leadership skills.
The ceremony brought the 86th FFA Convention to a close.
This year, the convention saw record attendance and helped bring $40 million to the Louisville economy.
Organizers said they were glad to be back.
The convention will be back in Louisville next year.
