Emergency shelters set up at Atherton High School

LOUISVILLE, Ky. -- The Red Cross has set up a shelter for those affected by Sunday morning's floods.

A Red Cross spokesman says Atherton High School opened around 3:00 a.m. for any one who had to be evacuated from their homes.

TARC buses are being used to transport evacuees to the school.  MetroSafe reports at least 82 people have been evacuated.

Atherton High School is located at 3000 Dundee Rd  in Louisville. 

Snacks, coffee and water will be provided.
