LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- MetroSafe dispatchers confirmed emergency responders were sent out to the 600 block of 29th Street after receiving a call that a child was shocked.

Dispatchers said the 12-year-old girl suffered non life-threatening injuries and was transported to Kosair Children's Hospital as a precaution. She is expected to be OK.

It was originally reported the she was shocked by a downed power line, but LG&E officials said there was some type of problem with a street light.
