ELIZABETH, Ind. (WHAS11) – An old church damaged early Wednesday morning by a tornado was demolished Saturday afternoon.
An EF0 tornado hit the small town of Elizabeth, Indiana in Harrison County not too far from the Horseshoe Casino.
The tornado knocked the old Riverside Presbyterian Church’s wall down and scattered debris all over the area.
Construction crews pulled down what was left of the building and burned some of the debris.
No injured were reported from the tornado in Elizabeth.
