LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – Police have released the name of the woman who died last night after a crash at the intersection of Cane Run Road and Rockford Lane near Shively.
The woman was identified at 60-year-old Sandra Crabtree of Louisville.
Police say she ran a red light and collided with a Toyota Camry.
Crabtree was thrown from her van and then it tipped on top of her.
Several men at the scene rushed to help the woman lifting the van off of her.
Paramedics rushed Crabtree to University Hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
The driver of the Camry only suffered minor injuries and police do not believe alcohol was a factor in the crash.
