LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – The Easter bunny made his yearly visit during the 21 annual Easter Parade on Frankfort Avenue.
It started at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church and fire trucks and cars in the parade made their way down to Haldeman Avenue handing out candy to the children along the route.
“It was great to see so many people out here celebrating Easter. Churches were out here in force and lots of people celebrating the resurrection of Christ and also the Easter bunny,” patron Aaron Crane said.
The parade is put on by the Frankfort Avenue Business Association and this year it honored the Kentucky School for the Blind’s more than 170 years of service to the community.
