Dismas Charities defending recent leases at 2 sporting venues in Louisville

Louisville, Ky. (WHAS11) - Dismas Charities is defending its recent leases at two sporting venues here in Louisville.

It was recently disclosed that the organization leased a $90,000 a year box at the new Yum Center and leases a caboose at Papa John’s Cardinal Stadium.

Dismas Charities operates half-way houses for state and federal prisons in several states.

The charity is defending its actions.

Dismas has asked state auditor Crit Luallen to review the leases.
