Louisville, Ky. (WHAS) – DeSales High School honored one of their former students who was killed in Afghanistan earlier this year.
Aaron Faust, a 2007 graduate, was killed while serving in Afghanistan in April of this year.
The school placed a plaque bearing Faust’s name on the Alumni Veterans Memorial Monument. The ceremony also included the laying of a memorial wreath.
A granite bench was also placed in a memorial area at DeSales to honor all servicemen who were killed in action.
