(WHAS11) - Lawyers for David Camm, the former Indiana State Trooper accused of killing his wife and children, want his third trial heard in northern Indiana.
Camm's attorney filed a change of venue motion to move the trial from Warrick Superior Court, where Camm's second trial was heard to Indianapolis or further north.
She says Camm faces "substantial bias and prejudice" in Warrick county because of media coverage of the second trial. David Camm has been convicted twice of killing his family at their home in Floyd County.
Both convictions were overturned on appeal.
