(WHAS11) -- A southern Indiana middle school janitor, arrested for dealing cocaine on school property has been sentenced to four years probation.
Victor Cousins was arrested at Scribner Middle School in New Albany in October 2009.
Police charged Cousins with dealing cocaine and resisting law enforcement but he pleaded guilty to a lesser charge of cocaine possession.
He originally faced as many as 50 years in prison but now he will not spend time in jail unless he violates probation.
Cousins was fired by the school district after his arrest.
