(WHAS11) -- The Jefferson County Coroner says 30-year-old William Cundiff died in an accident on I-264 West at the 6.6 mile marker in Shively.
Police say Cundiff lost control of his car and slammed into a pole on the side of the road.
Police do not know why he swerved to the right and hit the pole.
