LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The man who was killed in an accident on the Kennedy Bridge on Monday, Jan. 27, has been identified as 59-year-old Dennis Leonard, of Franklin, Ind.
Louisville Metro Police say a white, large cargo van rear-ended the back of a tractor trailer in the southbound lanes around 5:30 p.m. The driver of the cargo van, Leonard, died as a result and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash closed the right lane of I-65 South for more than two hours.
Funeral arrangements will take place in North Vernon, Ind.
