Crews douse vegetable oil fire at Louisville refinery

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- A fire at a Louisville refinery kept firefighters busy early Tuesday morning.

The fire broke out just before 1:30 a.m. a the AAK Refinery in Shively, that's in the 2500 block of 7th Street Road.

Firefighters said an overflow tank of vegetable oil exploded and sparked the fire.

Crews were able to put out the flames within an hour. No injuries were reported.
