LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Some survivors of the nation's worst drunk-driving crash are planning to attend events next week in the central Kentucky area that suffered the heartbreak from the tragedy 25 years ago.

The ceremonies in Radcliff and Elizabethtown will include a public screening of a new documentary about the Carrollton bus crash that killed 27 people on a church bus.

The group was returning from an amusement park outing when a drunk driver traveling on the wrong side of Interstate 71 plowed head-on into the bus on May 14, 1988.

Cassie Edinger, a victim-services specialist with Kentucky Mothers Against Drunk Driving, says survivors have mixed feelings about the documentary.

She says they want to publicize the dangers of drunk driving but know it will be difficult to relive such a traumatic event.
