(WHAS11) -- The court martial got underway Wednesday for a Fort Knox soldier accused of selling military armor.
Staff Sergeant Hunter Perry is accused of stealing and selling military property.
Perry says he legally bought and sold the ballistic plates and vests online. He also says he didn't take the plates from military supply.
Perry has argued the charges are unfair and says military surplus stores and dealers online sell the same items.
