LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- The sequester deadline is looming in Washington and if there is no deal by Friday, Thunder Over Louisville could be impacted.
The military is reacting to the possible budget cuts by holding back aircraft from air shows. The big air show in Indianapolis was canceled for 2013.
In Louisville, Thunder producer Wayne Hettinger told WHAS11 that the military aircraft that normally take part would not fly if a deal is not made. Hettinger says the air show would still be happen, it would just have a heavy lineup of civilian aircraft.
Regardless of what happens in Washington, WHAS11 is your official Thunder Over Louisville station. We will have live coverage on air and online all day April 20.
