Controversial former pastor for President Obama to lead panel at Louisville Seminary

(WHAS 11)--The controversial former pastor for President Barack Obama in Louisville September 4 with a message about issues facing African-American leaders.

Reverend Jeremiah Wright preached at Bates Memorial Church Sept.3 where he talked to seminary students.

You may remember Reverend Wright was President Barack Obama’s pastor for 20 years however he was criticized for a series of anti-white, anti-government comments.

During his sermon Sept.3 the reverend talked about the challenges that pastor’s face.

Reverend Wright will lead a panel discussion at the Louisville Seminary Sept. 4.

Hundreds of pastors, ministers and students are slated to attend.

It begins at 10 a.m. until noon.
