LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) -- Work is underway to prepare for the construction of the downtown crossing that’s part of the Ohio River Bridges Project.
On Thursday, Feb. 14, crews were out clearing and trimming trees along Interstate 64 and Story Avenue. The work is expected to take several weeks and in the area around I-65 and Jackson and Preston.
The work is being done so construction on the bridge can start in the summer of 2013.
