LEBANON JUNCTION, KY (WHAS11) – WHAS11 News has learned that one person has been injured in an incident at Lebanon Junction Elementary School on Tuesday afternoon.
The incident happened around 2:30 p.m.
One construction worker was seriously burned by tar while working on school renovations. He’s been stat-flighted to University Hospital.
The worker is employed by Bruce’s Tri-State Roofing Company out of Owensboro.
The main contractor on the site has notified the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and other appropriate authorities
Students and teachers were not affected by the accident.
