(WHAS11) -- Construction crews have begun work on the Gene Snyder Freeway.
Crews are preforming bridge deck repairs over Brownsboro Road and are warning drivers to expect lane closures and lane shifts. These will mostly happen overnight.
The speed limit will be reduced to 55 miles per hour in the area.
The work is expected to wrap up November 15.
