CLARKSVILLE, Ind. (WHAS11) -- The southern Indiana man accused in the murder of a mother of five was not in court Tuesday because he is in the hospital.
Ronald Shewmaker is charged with killing Lisa McQuirt Monday morning outside her boyfriend's Clarksville home.
Sources tell WHAS11 that Shewmaker is in the hospital but could not give a reason as to why because of patient confidentiality.
McQuirt's family says the two did not have a romantic relationship but that he had visited her regularly at the strip club where she worked.
