CLARK COUNTY, Ind. (WHAS11) – An Indiana State Police trooper’s spot on instinct led to a huge marijuana bust in Clark County.
Trooper Nate Abbott pulled over a black Chevy Impala over for having illegally tinted windows.
Sensing something wasn’t right; he searched the car and found 46 pounds of weed stuffed into luggage.
The street value is more than $46,000.
The driver, 20-year-old Amanda Arellano and 46-year-old Irma Maldonado, both from Texas, were arrested and charged with felony dealing and possession of marijuana.
A juvenile male passenger was also arrested.
