LOUISVILLE, Ky -- History will be made in Louisville this weekend.
On Saturday, the city's first female Catholic Priest will become ordained.
Dr. Rosemarie Smead has worked in ministry for years and taught for 26 years at Indiana University.
The 70-year-old was raised as a devout catholic and briefly lived as a cloistered nun.
The Association of Roman Catholic Women Priests works around the world to ordain women
They'll perform the Catholic ceremony Saturday at Saint Andrew's United Church of Christ.
