LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WHAS11) – 50 bands performed on three separate stages in Fern Creek Sunday to raise money for country outlaw David Allen Coe.

Heart of Fire Church hosted the benefit at Pope’s House on Bardstown Road.

The money raised will help pay for David Allen Coe’s medical bills. He was in attendance.

The musician was hurt in a car accident in March where police say he ran a red light and collide with a tractor trailer.

7 of the bands that took the stage included Dallas Moore, Jasmine Cane and Confederate Railroad.
